Skye Eddy

Skye is the founder of Soccer Parenting, with a mission of inspiring players by empowering parents. Skye is a sought after speaker for parents, coaches, clubs and players. A former professional player, Skye was a collegiate and youth All-American goalkeeper, Defensive MVP of the Final Four (1993) and State Champion track athlete. Skye has coached extensively in the youth and collegiate games. A MBA graduate of the University of Richmond, Skye has earned her USSF "B" License, the USSF National Goalkeeper License, the USSF Grassroots Instructors License.
Melissa Pierson

Melissa grew up in Indianapolis, IN and played college soccer at Marian University. After graduating with a degree in chemistry, Melissa began her professional journey, which has led her to her current role as an Innovation Coach. Now a resident of Wisconsin, Melissa was thrilled to dive back into soccer alongside her two children, whom she has coached for the last 5 years. Melissa’s passion for Soccer Parenting is rooted in her personal journey from being a soccer player to a coach and parent…and the realization that each role presents a unique mix of opportunities and challenges. With a lifelong love of sports and a passion for the power of sport to grow leaders and build community, Melissa is thrilled to be part of Soccer Parenting, where she is responsible for the organization's day to day rhythm.
Anthony DiCicco
CHIEF of special projects
Originally from Wethersfield, Connecticut, Anthony now resides in Park City, Utah where he serves as the Head Coach of the Park City High School boys’ and girls’ varsity teams and as a Staff Coach and the College Advisory Program Director with Park City Soccer Club. Anthony believes in the mission of empowering parents because of his first-hand experience with engaged and educated parents. Formerly the CEO of the SoccerPlus companies, Director of Soccer for AstroTurf and as collegiate and U20 World Cup Team Assistant Coach with Papua New Guinea in 2016, Anthony has worked in many facets of the game around the country and around the world. In addition to holding his USSF "C" License, he is also a Licensed US Soccer Grassroots Referee. At Soccer Parenting, Anthony is responsible for developing and maintaining partnerships with leagues, State Associations, NGB's, and our various strategic partners.
Stefanie Caliri
Director of Partnerships
Stefanie has nearly a decade of experience building soccer communities, specializing in partnerships, program development, and grassroots marketing. A graduate of Rhode Island College and Bay Path University, she has led initiatives with a USL club, a USYS state association, youth sports programs across the Northeast, and has advised clubs at the amateur, professional, and international levels. Her work emphasizes expanding access to the game in serving as a USSF referee assignor, spearheading referee development programs in partnership with U.S. Soccer and Rhode Island, growing TOPSoccer for players with diverse abilities, and contributing on the US Youth Soccer Eastern Regional Tournament Committee. She has presented at sports conferences, is engaged in World Cup 2026 community initiatives in Rhode Island, and serves on the board of Mundialito, a nonprofit supporting student-athletes.
Chris Flaherty

Originally from Liverpool, England, Chris brings more than eight years of collegiate coaching experience to the team. A former Mitchell College standout, he earned his degree in Sport & Fitness Management before moving directly into coaching at the NCAA Division II and Division I levels. In 2018, he helped lead the University of Bridgeport to a National Championship, a career milestone that reflects his commitment to excellence and player development.
In addition to his collegiate work, Chris has coached at both the high school and club levels, giving him a well-rounded understanding of the youth soccer landscape. He now lives in Connecticut with his family and is excited to bring his passion for the sport, relationship-building, and program growth to his role as Sales Manager.
Sarah Dwyer Shick
SPecialIZED PROGRAMMING coordinator
Sarah, a multi-sport athlete from Philadelphia and Seattle, now lives in New York's Hudson Valley. After 15 years coaching collegiate soccer, she shifted to youth development, working across all levels. She holds a Master’s in Sports Management from the University of Denver, a bachelor’s from Smith College, and certifications from NSCA, United Soccer Coaches, and USSF. In 2018, she founded The Sports Bra Project, a nonprofit increasing sports access for girls and women. Sarah is an Associate Commissioner of the WPSL, trains Vassar College goalkeepers, and at Soccer Parenting, she leads the Youth Coach Advisory Group, liaises with the Leadership Council, and supports special programming.
Corey Holton
club operations manager
Originally from Vermont, Corey has coached collegiately for the past 18 years. She played soccer at Elmira College and after graduating with a degree in psychology, she began her coaching career. She holds an Advanced National Diploma from United Soccer Coaches and a master’s degree in sport studies from High Point University. Corey has been a head coach at three NCAA Division III institutions and has spent time as both an assistant and associate head coach at the Division I level. Corey is passionate about student-athlete development, and she believes that the education provided through Soccer Parenting is a critical component to supporting youth players’ growth. At Soccer Parenting, Corey is responsible for building and growing relationships with our club partners
Kelsey Hauser
club operations manager
Kelsey grew up in Western Massachusetts and brings a wealth of experience to the game as both a player and coach. She is currently an Assistant Coach at Hofstra University, where she has helped guide the program to three conference championships. A First Team All-Conference player at Skidmore College, she earned her degree in Business with a minor in Mathematics before completing her MBA in Global Supply Chain Management at Clarkson University.
Her coaching resume includes Head Coach roles at Clarkson University, the USL-W Long Island Lady Rough Riders, and the Long Island Soccer Club Girls Academy teams, as well as Assistant Coach positions at Clarkson and Vassar College. She holds an Advanced National Diploma and lives on Long Island, New York with her husband and two young children, ages 3 and 1.
Tania Armellino
club operations manager
Tania Armellino grew up in Milford, CT and has been coaching at the collegiate level for the past 20 years. Tania came back home to CT in 2022 to take on the Head Women’s Soccer Coach position at the University of Bridgeport in Bridgeport, CT. In just her first three seasons at UB, Tania led the Purple Knights to back-to-back conference championships and broke the program record with a 19-match unbeaten streak in 2022.
Tania played college soccer at Rutgers University while earning her BA in English, with a double minor in Political Science and American Studies. She then went on to earn her Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law and is a licensed attorney in the State of Connecticut.
Prior to UB, Tania was the Head Coach at Plattsburgh State University for 8 years. She also served as an Assistant Soccer Coach at Connecticut College, the University of Dayton, and Kenyon College. Tania has over 10 years of club coaching experience as well, coaching for Dayton Soccer Academy, Southeast Soccer Club, Nordic Soccer Club, and Inter Connecticut FC. Tania holds a National Diploma and lives in Milford, CT with her husband and son, age 7.
Melanie Clark
Administrative Operational Manager
Melanie Clark, originally from Columbus, Ohio, now lives in Charleston, South Carolina with her husband and three children. A lifelong athlete, she grew up playing soccer and competing in multiple sports, ultimately graduating from The Ohio State University, where she was a varsity athlete in both Track and Cross Country. Melanie has been a certified personal trainer for over 13 years and is a passionate sports performance coach, specializing in the prevention of overuse injuries in youth athletes. With a professional background in business management, she is excited to bring her administrative and bookkeeping expertise to support the mission of Soccer Parenting.
Gina Lukoskie

Growing up in Central Pennsylvania, sports have always been an integral part of Gina's life. She has been involved with soccer and track since childhood. As a multi-sport athlete throughout high school, she continued her soccer journey into college. She played for the Emerson College Lions and helped lead them to a NEWMAC title in 2022. After recently graduating with a degree in Visual and Media Arts, she discovered the opportunity to work for Soccer Parenting. As our video editor, she's dedicated to telling our stories and contributing to our mission to make youth soccer better.

Raised in Richmond, Virginia, Ryan has always been passionate about shaping the digital landscape of the future. From an early age, he was captivated by technology—fascinated by how code could transform ideas into reality. Whether building websites, exploring the foundational elements of technology, or analyzing data, Ryan has consistently sought ways to enhance efficiency and impact.
At Soccer Parenting, Ryan is responsible for optimizing our data collection processes, innovating how we deliver and utilize data sets, enhancing reporting and analytics, and refining user experience to ensure seamless engagement. His work is driven by a deep commitment to problem-solving—whether streamlining workflows, improving digital interactions, or unlocking new opportunities through data. Guided by the belief that technology should be accessible, efficient, and ever-evolving, Ryan is dedicated to creating solutions that make a meaningful difference.
