Skye Eddy

founder,  CEO

Skye is the founder of Soccer Parenting, with a mission of inspiring players by empowering parents. Skye is a sought after speaker for parents, coaches, clubs and players. A former professional player, Skye was a collegiate and youth All-American goalkeeper, Defensive MVP of the Final Four (1993) and State Champion track athlete. Skye has coached extensively in the youth and collegiate games. A MBA graduate of the University of Richmond, Skye has earned her USSF "B" License, the USSF National Goalkeeper License, the USSF Grassroots Instructors License.

Anthony DiCicco

CHIEF of Partnerships

Originally from Wethersfield, Connecticut, Anthony now resides in Park City, Utah where he serves as the Head Coach of the Park City High School boys’ and girls’ varsity teams and as a Staff Coach and the College Advisory Program Director with Park City Soccer Club. Anthony believes in the mission of empowering parents because of his first-hand experience with engaged and educated parents. Formerly the CEO of the SoccerPlus companies, Director of Soccer for AstroTurf and as collegiate and U20 World Cup Team Assistant Coach with Papua New Guinea in 2016, Anthony has worked in many facets of the game around the country and around the world. In addition to holding his USSF "C" License, he is also a Licensed US Soccer Grassroots Referee. At Soccer Parenting, Anthony is responsible for developing and maintaining partnerships with leagues, State Associations, NGB's, and our various strategic partners.


Melissa Pierson

CHIEF of staff

Melissa grew up in Indianapolis, IN and played college soccer at Marian University. After graduating with a degree in chemistry, Melissa began her professional journey, which has led her to her current role as an Innovation Coach. Now a resident of Wisconsin, Melissa was thrilled to dive back into soccer alongside her two children, whom she has coached for the last 5 years. Melissa’s passion for Soccer Parenting is rooted in her personal journey from being a soccer player to a coach and parent…and the realization that each role presents a unique mix of opportunities and challenges. With a lifelong love of sports and a passion for the power of sport to grow leaders and build community, Melissa is thrilled to be part of Soccer Parenting, where she will be responsible for the organization's day to day rhythm.

Sarah Dwyer Shick

SPecialIZED PROGRAMMING coordinator

In 15 years in intercollegiate coaching, Sarah coached at each of the three NCAA divisions and spent three years as an assistant with the Dutchess Community College NJCAA men's program. Sarah spent nine years with U.S. Youth Soccer's Olympic Development Program in Eastern N.Y., serving as Director of the Girls North ODP program for five. She is also the founder of The Sports Bra Project, a nonprofit that works to increase access to sports by providing sports bras to girls and women in areas where they are not easily accessible.  At Soccer Parenting, Sarah is responsible for engaging our Youth Coach Advisory Group, acts as the liaison to our Leadership Council, and supports programming efforts around special topics.

Corey Holton

club operations manager

Originally from Vermont, Corey has coached collegiately for the past 18 years. She played soccer at Elmira College and after graduating with a degree in psychology, she began her coaching career.  She holds an Advanced National Diploma from United Soccer Coaches and a master’s degree in sport studies from High Point University.  Corey has been a head coach at three NCAA Division III institutions and has spent time as both an assistant and associate head coach at the Division I level. Corey is passionate about student-athlete development, and she believes that the education provided through Soccer Parenting is a critical component to supporting youth players’ growth. At Soccer Parenting, Corey is responsible for building and growing relationships with our club partners

Kahlil Lam

club operations manager

Kahlil grew up in Silver Spring, MD and after graduating with a degree in Kinesiology from the Pennsylvania State University, he started coaching and worked toward his current D-License and has coached for many years with youth clubs in the Washington, DC Metro Area; including Player Progression Academy (PPA), Potomac Soccer Association and Brit-Am Soccer Academy. Kahlil is currently working at the Bullis School in Potomac, MD as the Auxiliary Programs Manager. Kahlil is excited to continue to work advancing the mission of Soccer Parenting. At Soccer Parenting, Kahlil is responsible for supporting our Club Members and new business development.


Gina Lukoskie


Growing up in Central Pennsylvania, sports have always been an integral part of Gina's life. She has been involved with soccer and track since childhood. As a multi-sport athlete throughout high school, she continued her soccer journey into college. She played for the Emerson College Lions and helped lead them to a NEWMAC title in 2022. After recently graduating with a degree in Visual and Media Arts, she discovered the opportunity to work for Soccer Parenting. As our video editor, she's dedicated to telling our stories and contributing to our mission to make youth soccer better.

Jenn Ruggeri

club operations manager

With 15 years of experience as an Executive Assistant to C-Suite executives and as President of the PTO at her children’s school, Jenn brings a strong sense of organization, strategic planning, and an important awareness of the value of collaborative relationship building across stakeholders to the team at Soccer Parenting. As a former collegiate athlete (Basketball) Jenn understands the important role sports plays in the lives of players and their families and she brings a unique perspective to our organization as team parent to her children’s teams.


Amy Stenglein


Amy was born and raised in Central Minnesota. As an athlete all through high school, she continued playing recreationally throughout college and into adulthood in various different leagues. After graduating from SMSU with a degree in art with an emphasis in graphic design and marketing, she found the opportunity with Soccer Parenting to be an ideal fit. She loves coaching volleyball (both at the JO and High School levels) as it allows her to connect to her love of sports. She now lives in the Rochester, Minnesota area with her family and they are all very active in their community's sporting events. Amy's passion for marketing is stronger than ever since joining Soccer Parenting because working with an organization that is creating a positive movement in youth sports is a core belief of hers that she gets to live out every day.

Alyssa Wichmann

Alyssa grew up in South Dakota in a big sports family. She played basketball and soccer through college until graduating from Wisconsin Lutheran College with a degree in psychology. Alyssa and her husband, Todd, have four children who are all soccer players. Sports have played an important role in their family. Alyssa has been promoting youth sports for many years through coaching and volunteering prior to joining Soccer Parenting.  At Soccer Parenting, Alyssa is responsible for growing our Club, League and State Association Partnerships.
