Being surrounded by such passionate soccer advocates has definitely piqued her interest in this amazing sport! Through the years, Elaine has been an elementary teacher, scrapbooking consultant, law firm office manager, stay-at-home mom, PTA president, and real estate transaction coordinator. At Soccer Parenting, Elaine works behind the scenes coordinating the production of the weekly newsletter, updating club logos on the website, and other organizational tasks to support the Soccer Parenting mission.

Kelley Schmidt

Kelley grew up in Northboro, MA and played collegiately at Old Dominion University and then for the U.S.W.I.S.L. Hampton Roads Piranhas. She was the Head Coach at Division III Fitchburg State College (2004-2005) and then the Assistant Coach at the University of Richmond (2005-2007). Julio Serrano

CLUB MEMBER sales manager

As a Mexican-American who grew up in Northern California, Julio's love for this game grew thanks to his father's soccer culture and watching his beloved Chivas de Guadalajara.  With over 25 years of soccer experience, he joins our team as a Sale Manager. He is the current United Soccer Coaches' Latino Advocacy Group Chair. As a US Soccer Grassroots Instructor, we are happy to have Serrano, as his passion for teaching the game to others is evident in the work he does for Illinois Youth Soccer.  At Soccer Parenting, Julio is responsible for outreach to new clubs interested in becoming a Club Member.

An award-winning television and digital media executive for 20+ years, Derrall is using that experience to help advance the mission of Soccer Parenting. He graduated from the University of Tennessee and has managed newsrooms for ABC, FOX, and NBC affiliates.
