“Wyoming Soccer Association (WSA) puts a concerted focus on educating parents, coaches, referees & players on respecting EVERYONE involved in the beautiful game. As part of our Call of the Whistle Innovate to Grow grant from the United States Soccer Federation (USSF), we have focused on one of the main roots of the systemic challenges to recruiting and retaining our referees, which is a sideline, and sometimes on field, behavior issue. Wyoming Soccer has created our own Game Changer pledge for all members of Wyoming Soccer Association, as we want to create a safe and fun environment for everyone,” explained Wyoming Soccer Executive Director Lisa Hulshizer. “We believe the Soccer Parenting Association has a proven reputation for doing just that.  We want everyone within the Wyoming Soccer ecosystem to have the tools and resources they need to ensure love of the beautiful game continues to grow. We are proud to partner with them and extend the benefits of our partnership to each of our affiliated clubs at a very affordable rate. WSA will offset the annual membership for clubs who embrace and encourage their members to become game changers and have the highest percentage of members taking the pledge.”

Providing a positive youth soccer experience where all children feel inspired, develop important life skills, and establish healthy, life-long habits must be a top priority for all youth soccer organizations.

“The investment Wyoming Soccer is making towards positively affecting the lives of soccer players, families and dedicated coaches in Wyoming is commendable. We are proud to work with WSA and are encouraged by their commitment to improving the youth soccer landscape in the state.” said Skye Eddy, Founder of the Soccer Parenting Association.
