RISE Soccer Club has really enjoyed our partnership with Soccer Parenting. Soccer Parenting was introduced to RISE through the Girls Academy, and it has been a very positive asset for the club. Our parents are such an important part of the club soccer experience and Soccer Parenting helps us educate our parents on so many important topics. We really appreciate this partnership with Soccer Parenting as it shows our RISE Soccer parents that we care about them.

We had a good initial rollout to all of our competitive teams. We used a contest with prizes to encourage parents to log in and take a course. With the idea being they may stick around to check out other parts of the website. I think we probably had 100 parents or more take on of the courses (of 300 players). I think the best participation was in our U9 - U13 age groups, which is the sweet spot we were targeting. In that group, we are probably around 90% participation rate for parents.

I’ve always been grateful of Skye’s efforts, and we are proud partners of Soccer Parenting. We hope the information shared with our membership is perceived as calming, insightful and impactful as families try and navigate their way through the ever more competitive and complex youth sports world as they learn their situation has been experienced by others before them. One of the biggest issues we face is misinformation, and Soccer Parenting is a neutral space where people can go to feel informed and more able to find a suitable resolution to a situation for all parties concerned. A very necessary resource in the pursuit of handling hard better.
