    I like all those ideas and also have another suggestion. Along the same lines of coaching development you can also get your coach a subscription to a coaching education course or program like Player Development Project or 3four3 Coaching.

    While some clubs will pay for their coaches to take in person US Soccer or United Soccer Coaches training it’s more difficult to get them to cover the cost of virtual training programs online that aren’t sanctioned by one of those organizations (even though they’re still high quality coaching education).

    So having the team chip in to get them access to one of those resources can be a nice treat – and it helps the players too since it can make them a better coach.
