Our Soccer Parenting Goalkeeper Week RE-CAP

We are so thankful to the incredible turnout of parents, coaches and expert contributors who made Goalkeeper Week at Soccer Parenting such a success.  The feedback from parents, coaches and club leaders has been tremendous!  We set out to help parents through providing you with essential learning so you can support your young goalkeepers and along the way we grew our Soccer Parenting community with fantastic interactions, supported some families with Storelli gift cards for gear, and drew additional attention to the support our young goalkeepers need and deserve!  

However, more than anything, my favorite part of the week was the Goalkeeper Union. I felt such a strong connection to a part of me and my history that is so significant to my personal story.  The Goalkeeper Union is a unique group to be a part of and where I find some of my closest friends, instant connections, and strongest bonds.  To help parents get a glimpse of the amazing and powerful Union your young goalkeeper is an instant member of was my favorite part of the week.  Check out the video below where our experts talk about What the Goalkeeper Union Means to them.

Personally, I had so many favorite moments during the week!  Highlights were the laughing Kevin Hartman and I did about missing our playing days and the reminiscing Phil Wheddon and I did about our Soccer Plus days.  All of that being said - each of the conversations were inspiring, engaging and educational - thanks to Andy, Phil, Jill, Stu, Kevin, John and Jon!
